Last week I posted on my facebook wall about the delivery of a child and suddenly I started getting messages wishing her a safe delivery when it is a him that posted the message.
To a lot of people, the only delivery that exists on earth is that of a woman and a child. The picture people have about delivery is that of a woman in labour bringing forth a child.
Dr. Mensah Otabil, a Preacher and a University Chancellor from Ghana, made us understand, last year at the Daystar Leadership Conference, that there are different types of children that people can bring forth. This message was really an eye-opening one.
One of the children he spoke about are the ones that come from our brain and that is what I want to talk about in this piece. When people talk about barreness, they fail to understand that it is not only about the womb, the brain can also be barren.
Your productivity in life, will NEVER be measured by the number of children that came from your womb but by those that your brain produced. You'll need to read this again for better understanding.
It baffles me so much how a lot of people go through a whole year or even their entire life without having any thing to show as an achievement. This is not the way to live life and God didn't create us just to occupy space till we leave but to be productive!
Over the years, we have been celebrating breakthroughs in technology, movies, music and so many other fields. These breakthroughs are as a result of some people using their brains to produce some offsprings.
The Internet that is giving me the platform to reach out to you, is somebody's brain child and this has led to so many different offsprings as well. That is why we have Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Nairaland and even Naija Motivation. :)
My challenge to you this week, this month and for the rest of this year, is to look within you for what you can give the world, what brain child can we attach to your name. I want you to set the date you will deliver your own brain child so that the world can celebrate with you.
It does not matter how small or of little impact your child is, the most important thing is that you give the world something you can be proud of.
I have made the commitment to be useful in this world and to give the world the best of my brain. A woman must wait for Nine months before she can deliver but I don't need to wait that long and neither do you.
All the things needed in this world has not been created, so there is still enough space for new entrants! I hope you bring forth soon and I hope to be one of those that will celebrate with you.
Now is the time to go get PREGNANT! I encourage you to go get pregnant with IDEAS!
This is to your successful delivery this year and beyond!
